Guitars and Gear

I thought this was a neat idea.  That way I can look at them while I'm not playing them.

Electrics

1987 Gibson Les Paul Junior
(Serial Number: 80477514)
My first good guitar and main slide guitar (Open E).  But lately I've been playing it in regular tuning since I tweeked the truss rod (1st time).  Remember, PRS guitars were based on the sound of a Junior.

1989 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop
(Serial Number: 82559553)
Actually it says Standard on the truss rod cover.  I saw one of the new reissue Gold Tops and the pickup and pick guard colours don't match (!) and they put those goofy top-hat knobs on them now.  Anyways, this one, she can't be beat.

2004 Gibson Les Paul Studio Plus
(Serial Number: 03544528)
It all started when I wanted a Les Paul with humbuckers.  Well, good ones.  Now it has a set of 57 Classics and I'm thrilled.  The pickguard, pickup rings and volume/tone knobs were added after.  Also, the tone pots and volume pots were swapped - I like a linear taper volume pot better.

2007 Gibson Les Paul Studio
(Serial Number: 020771306)
I traded in my SG Classic for this at the end of 2007.  It's a fine guitar, complete with an ebony fretboard.  The 57 Classics and a Bigsby B-70 were put in after.  The only drawback is the chambered body - it makes the guitar a little more feedback-prone.

Acoustics and Basses
Left is a nice 2003 Taylor 310.  This thing's a dream to play and the intonation is dead-on.  Beside that on your right is a 2002 Taylor Baby.  The Baby was the best sounding acoustic I owned until I bought the big one.  Kids, you can't buy a cheap acoustic - you do get what you pay for. 2005 Epiphone Biscuit - I traded in my old one (wood body with the centre cone) for this one.  I always wanted an all-chrome resonator.  Better put together than my old one and a nice big, fat neck on her too.  She's a treat, just hard to take a picture with using a flash.
Early-90s Goya Bass  - It's hard to find any literature on Goya basses.  I know they're Swedish and that's about it.  Dubbed "The Brown Bomber", this bass has been good to me over the years and I love the short scale and coil-taps. 2007 Epiphone EB-3 Bass - I wanted a new bass sound, just because.  When I went to the music store, I almost walked out with a Warwick RockBass until then I seen this white beauty.  Surprisingly a fine bass.
