Needless But a Lot of Fun: a PSP

I can't explain it.  One day a couple of weeks ago I woke up and thought, "I'd really like a PSP."  So I went out and got one.

I should back it up a bit and mention that I was thinking of getting an MP3 player, so I can listen to music when I go from my apartment to my car.  But seriously, I haven't had a need for a Walkman of any kind for the last couple of years.  I don't cut the grass and I haven't been on many trips and I don't take public transit.  I do plan on getting out and about more so I thought I might as well get one.

So I thought I'd get a PSP.  It's an MP3 player that plays games, shows photos (any time I want to see the Death Star blow up the Twin Towers, I can) and it plays movies.

Magic.

Then I bought one.

It changed my life.  I'm a different person.  Now when I'm ignoring someone, I'm not trying to on purpose - I'm thinking of where I left off on a certain game.  Also, the MP3 player part comes in handy when I'm laying out in the sun, getting a tan and making Vitamin D to fight cancer.  Who knew a PSP could be so healthy?

Also, once I got the wireless working (I had to check off "enable hidden wireless" on the router), the thing that blew me away the most was the Internet Radio.  Nice.  Very nice.

For games, I had to get God Of War and the NHL 07 which ended up being light years more fun than NHL 08 for the PS3.  Also I ended up getting the Battlefront: Rogue Squadron that I didn't like it at first until I found the auto-aim button.  That changed everything.

For movies, I ended up getting the Beavis and Buttheads and Borat.  I'm still looking for Heavy Metal and that should be about it for that.

On a sad note, the girl didn't come with the PSP.  I think that's OK because I think she's almost going to be licking the headphone jack and I don't think that's covered under warranty.
